Trooper Gerald Gordon Mumford

Gerald Mumford was born around 1924.  He was the son of Bertie and May Louisa Mumford and the family lived at 18 Garden Row, Sudbury.

Gerald died aged 21 on 30th August 1945.  His death was reported in the Suffolk and Essex Free Press on 27th September as due to ‘an accident in Western Europe’.  He lies buried in Munster Heath War Cemetery, Germany.
