Sergeant Harold Mills

Harold Mills was the younger twin son of Mr. and Mrs. W Mills of 63 Melford Road, Sudbury.  He was married to Ethel Collar from Cuckoo Hill, Bures, Suffolk.

A report was published in the Suffolk and Essex Free Press on 14th September 1944 that Harold was ‘missing, believed killed, in an accident in France’.  

Harold died on 22nd August 1944 and lies buried in Bayeux War Cemetery, Normandy, France.
