(See images pa914 and 915.) This picture shows some of the cadets on Mt Kemmel overlooking the battlefields around Ypres. Edward Chisnall wrote on the back of this photo, " SGS members on LH corner of picture. Lt Col Angelbeck (spelling?) holding map in hands. Mr Vinnicombe in trilby to left of Lt. Col A. SGS members shown....Donald Cook, Leslie Maxim(?) - Miller then self, EGC, wearing cap back to front. J Walker just visible." Angelbeck was the Sudbury officer leading the contingent of 20 SGS cadets: Mr Vinnicombe was the other adult.
