See image pa896. Family and friends also went on this outing - Nobby's wife, Betty Bone, is the lady in the two- piece suit with the hat and handbag; Nobby is behind her. Braybrookes supplied many small grocery shops in the area, either on a cash and carry basis or delivering.

The market town of Sudbury, on the borders of Suffolk and Essex, has a long and fascinating history. Much of the way of life in the town since the invention of photography has been caught on camera.
