One of a number of images in the Archive showing the dedication of the town war memorial in 1921 - in its original position at the north end of North Street in front of the Masonic Hall. Beyond the Hall you can see the houses known as The Mount - demolished in the 1970s(?) to make way for the monstrosity, Sulby House.
