Angelo Newman Smith outside his jeweller's shop at 7 New Street. He began an apprenticeship with Walter Last in Sepulchre (Gainsborough) Street in 1871 and opened his own business here in New Street in 1876. He was here for 10 years before moving into 4 North Street.
