A strange and rather eerie image - not the best quality but certainly worth including. It dates from the Silver Jubilee celebrations of 1935 and shows one of the carnival floats on its way to the celebrations on Peoples Park. This one was entered by St Leonards Hospital and entitled the Men in White. It won third prize.
