The Sudbury Town Fire Brigade seen in 1923, posing with their new Merryweather 'Hatfield' pump. Possibly the old style helmets were by this time kept for ceremonial purposes. Chief Officer Percy Brown is third from the right in the back row and the Mayor is George Openshaw. Where was this taken? Please contact us if you have any ideas.
