The lofty interior of the Corn Exchange (built in 1842) which was converted into the Town Library in 1969. The dealers' desks

were occupied not just by corn merchants but by men selling coal, seed, lime, timber, stack covers, insurance and a wide range of other products and services. Date uncertain- late 1940's?
