We included this image because we thought that this was the Sudbury Home Guard taken at their standing down parade in 1944. Recently we have been told that this is actually the Glemsford Home Guard. Ted Bloomfield -back row, extreme left; George Brewster MM second row, third from the right; James Rodger-Brown MC, officer commanding, in the centre (wearing glasses). He had served in both the Highland Light Infantry and the Royal Flying Corps in WWI. The house is 'Coldhams' (the Old Rectory) in Glemsford.
