A celebratory dinner of the staff of Wheelers, the local timber merchants, in 1957. Location uncertain- possibly the Town Hall, the Four Swans, or the Masonic Hall. Nearest table wearing glasses is Mr Brown, Company Secretary with his secretary, Mrs Margaret Miller, on his left. Directly opposite her is Johnnie Nice, Sales Representative and Dance Band leader. On the far table, looking over her shoulder, is Mrs Hunt whilst Miss Jeffries from the Accounts Department is sitting opposite, wearing glasses. Information supplied by Patricia Thomas who was 18 at the time and is sitting with her friend Gloria at the back against the wall.
