Probably taken in the early 1960s. CAV was still occupying the factory in what is now Lucas Drive and W.T Armes was still spread across the adjacent site (now the location of Sainsbury's).

The market town of Sudbury, on the borders of Suffolk and Essex, has a long and fascinating history. Much of the way of life in the town since the invention of photography has been caught on camera.
